This year again in Calgary the weather was poor, dry and no snow thankfully but there was a cold wind chill that only worsened as the event continued. The weather has always affected the number of people attending which is estimated at 100-120 which was higher then the previous 2 years when it also snowed. Calgary 420 sponsors for over 10 years Bongs and Such and The Next Level were this years official march/parade marshals. The oldest cannabis drug policy reform organization in Canada (1978) National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws in Canada (NORML Canada} was well represented by national leadership and several Calgary volunteers attending proudly marching in the front of the parade with a 5 foot by 3 foot NORML Canada banner.
